Katrina Cole (director): The Neighborhood Preschool and Daycare

My family and I moved to Sherwood, Oregon a little over ten years ago. My husband Tony and I both grew up in this area and love all that it has to offer. I graduated High School in Sherwood, and its hard to believe that in another year my oldest son will be starting school there as well. I am the proud mother of four boys ages 14,12, 7, and 3. We have a very busy household and I love that there is never a dull moment. I have always loved children and I'm facinated by watching them learn and grow. I went to college for two years as an Early Childhood and Elementary School major. After starting my family I decided to put those dreams on hold for a while so I could watch my new dreams grow. I have enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom, and started watching children to help supplement our income. Throughout the process I have learned a lot about running an in-home daycare and have really enjoyed starting "The Neighborhood Preschool". Although I hope to someday go back and finish my education, I feel that I have found the perfect place to follow my dreams and still stay home and raise my family. It has truely been a blessing to be able to do what I do, and I have met many amazing families along the way. I hope to continue running the daycare and preschool as my youngest grows as well. It has been a wonderful opportunity and I look forward to working with many more families in our community.
